Sober Living For Women
Sober living for women at Yellowstone Recovery just recently opened our homes to women who have not completed their primary treatment with us. We provide a safe place for women to continue to put their lives back together after treatment. Sober living for women at Yellowstone has a few requirements. We are looking for women whose main focus is long term sobriety meaning they work a thorough program of recovery and are willing to help others. All of the women in sober living must be employed and have minimum of 30 days of sobriety. Residents are allowed to obtain a cell phone after a 2 week probationary period. Women who have been in the house for 60 days (a minimum of 90 days of sobriety) are eligible to request their vehicles. Our program is based on the principles of AA and we therefore require all residents to have a sponsor, attend AA meetings and actively work the 12-steps. All women in the house must attend a mandatory weekly house meeting and abide by a nightly curfew.
Sober living clients are free to go about their lives after the 2 week probation period as long as they maintain employment, are making their meetings and current on their fees. Women in sober living are expected to fellowship with newcomers in our main detox house on a regular basis. Fellowship helps show the new women in the program they have something to look forward to after completing treatment and that long term sobriety is possible.
