Addiction recovery takes time. It takes commitment. Those who reach for the goal of sobriety need a strong support network, a structured environment, effective treatment methods, and caring mentors. At Yellowstone Recovery, individuals can find everything they need to build the foundations for a sober life.

Yellowstone Recovery offers comprehensive drug and alcohol treatment in Southern California. We guide our clients through the entire recovery process, starting with detox, continuing with 90-day residential care, and culminating in long-term outpatient care. Our trained staff is there every step of the way, supporting each person as they begin their 12-step journey from the comfort of our Southern California treatment homes.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

checking into IOPLet’s be real, not everyone is able to or even wants to check themselves into a full-time treatment program. So what do you do when you need to recover and spend your nights at home? Intensive outpatient programs offer the ultimate solution to this quandary.

Our IOP program is both affordable and unique. We offer an evidence-based program and encourage our clients to pursue Twelve Step programs outside of treatment hours. Clients will get the many benefits of our residential program.

If you’re interested in enrolling in an IOP program, call us today.

Detoxification

man sitting on bench with beerDetox is the initial phase in any drug or alcohol treatment program—the first step along the road to recovery. During detox, the body rids itself of drugs and alcohol.

The resulting withdrawals can be more or less difficult depending on the substances used, the duration and frequency of use, and the health and age of the individual.

The detox period can be trying—alcohol withdrawal treatment can be particularly dangerous—but those who enter Yellowstone Recovery rehab center never have to endure it alone. We carefully guide each individual through the withdrawal process, so they can lay a solid foundation on which to build a sober life.

Once an individual has successfully weaned the body off drugs and alcohol, he or she can begin to tackle the psychological and emotional challenges that stand in the way of recovery.

Primary Care – Residential Treatment

father and son playing catchYellowstone Recovery’s primary care program forms the foundation upon which a successful recovery is built. Why? Because the first month after detox is critical. Treated with care, this initial period of addiction treatment can set someone up for a lifetime of sobriety.

Primary care at Yellowstone Recovery begins with a 30-day “blackout” period. During this phase, clients are not allowed to contact anyone outside the treatment program (although they can arrange for friends and family to receive status updates from staff).

That separation gives them the time and the space to focus on their recovery without worries, distractions, or temptations.

Residential Treatment – Extended Care

circle of people holding hope signAfter primary care comes extended care. During this phase of recovery, clients continue their 12-step education and begin to search for employment.

Yellowstone Recovery’s extended residential drug addiction treatment program lasts for two months, from day 31 to day 90. At this stage, individuals use the tools they’ve learned during primary care. They demonstrate their ability to be accountable, to take direction, and follow through with their promises.

By the end of the 90-day period, clients should be ready to regain their self-sufficiency and re-enter the world.

Outpatient

circle of people group therapyAs soon as clients have completed their 90-day inpatient substance abuse treatment, they move on to outpatient care, where they receive ongoing support as they begin to piece their lives back together.

During the outpatient part of our program, clients take the first steps toward full independence. Although they no longer live full-time at one of Yellowstone Recovery’s residential facilities, they continue to make their way through the 12-step program.

Group and individual sessions are held during the evening. That way, participants can work during the day in order to support themselves, without losing the benefits of a structured recovery program.

Sober Living

people shaped paper cut outThe goal of any addiction treatment program is long-term sobriety. At Yellowstone Recovery, we know that recovery is a lifelong commitment that requires both perseverance and support.

A Sober Living facility can help people along the way by offering structured life, reasonable curfews, ongoing 12-step support, and accountability.

Our Sober Living program helps clients make the transition from assisted recovery to independent living. It begins the moment residential treatment ends. This is the point when individuals take what they’ve learned and apply it to real life.

A full-time house manager presides over each home, offering practical support and advice. Their job is to help each individual learn how to thrive on their own.
