The Last House on the Block for 25 Years | A 501(c)(3)

Yellowstone is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in California that was founded to provide a safe place and a plan of recovery for individuals who suffer from the diseases of drug addiction and alcoholism.

Our primary purpose is to provide a continuum of care for participants from their first day through their first year of sobriety. Outpatient care allows us to provide alternatives to residential treatment and extended aftercare to participants who complete our residential program. Additionally, we offer extended care sober living. Participants remain together during their most vulnerable period, as well as continuing their journey toward long-term sobriety.

Yellowstone as a nonprofit corporation is primarily supported by volunteers and donations.

For 20 years, Yellowstone Recovery has been giving men and women the tools they need to conquer addiction. When you walk through the doors of our drug and alcohol treatment center in Orange County, California, you enter a secure, supportive environment designed to facilitate recovery. Since 1997, we’ve helped over 5,000 men and women find the path toward sobriety, and we continue to provide the same level of care to all our clients.

Our Philosophy

We believe everyone deserves a chance at a healthy, sober life. That’s why we provide affordable, effective, and compassionate care that puts the individual’s needs first. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Yellowstone Recovery is able to offer a complete continuum of care while keeping costs low. Our comprehensive approach helps clients succeed at every step of the recovery process, from detox to sober living assistance.

People come to Yellowstone Recovery to find strength, healing, and support. They leave with renewed hope for a brighter future.

Our Approach

group therapy sessions

Once we’ve assessed a client’s mental, physical, and emotional health, we craft a personalized treatment program that addresses his or her specific needs. We start by treating the immediate physical effects of drug and alcohol use through monitored detoxification.

After completing the detox process, clients move on to the mental and behavioral aspects of addiction by taking part in a supervised 12-step program. They begin with primary residential care and then progress to extended residential care. Finally, Yellowstone Recovery offers continued sober living assistance—long-term outpatient care that helps clients transition to a sober, independent life.

Our Staff & Facilities

Yellowstone Recovery maintains a number of homes throughout Orange County, each within a few miles of Southern California’s beautiful beaches. Our drug and alcohol treatment center employs over 20 staff members, including a certified psychiatrist and registered CCAPP counselors. Many of our employees are graduates of the program, and all are drug tested to ensure continued sobriety.

No Refund Policy: The majority of the costs for a person in treatment at Yellowstone Recovery are incurred at the very beginning of our program. Among others, these costs include doctor’s visits, medications, as well as the formulation of a treatment plan. Because these costs are incurred at the outset, Yellowstone Recovery does not offer refunds.
