What to Expect at Our Rehab in Orange County

Discover what is in store for you at our Orange County treatment center, along with the range of treatment options we provide, such as:

Detoxification

New clients at Yellowstone Recovery typically complete a 10-day detox period before starting their recovery journey. This critical step removes recently consumed drugs and/or alcohol and ensures safety while alleviating withdrawal symptoms. After detox, clients can continue with residential treatment or intensive outpatient programs.

Residential Inpatient Treatment – Primary Care

After detox, Yellowstone clients have a 30-day “blackout” period without outside contact. As they progress, they can earn privileges like off-site passes. They attend therapy and 12-step meetings, work with peers on household tasks, and have a relaxed weekend schedule.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our next treatment step is an intensive outpatient program (IOP), offering personalized, evidence-based therapy sessions with set days and hours. It helps you reintegrate into society while conquering addiction at an affordable cost. Yellowstone Recovery’s IOPs aim to address stress, relationships, and relapse prevention, with the flexibility to address special needs.

Residential Treatment – Extended Care

Yellowstone clients in extended care continue their addiction treatment, working the 12 steps, implementing a relapse prevention plan, and developing coping skills. The program also helps clients find employment through daily job searches using all-day bus passes provided by Yellowstone.

Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient treatment is crucial for recovery and helps clients achieve long-term sobriety. It offers a better understanding of addiction and keeps clients practicing recovery. It is a chance for clients to strengthen their foundation before returning to the real world.

Sober Living

Yellowstone offers sober living as an option for clients who have completed the initial residential treatment. Each house is managed by a full-time house manager who provides practical support for clients to integrate their sober foundation with real-life fundamentals.

Programs We Offer

Experiential Therapy

Experiential therapy focuses on exploring experiences to stimulate personal growth, improve skills, and raise awareness of emotions and needs. It helps clients examine personal relationships and identify negative emotions that trigger addictive behaviors in cases of drug or alcohol addiction.

Family Support Group

Addiction affects not only the individual but also their loved ones. The family support group at Yellowstone Recovery offers guidance and support to those struggling with addiction-related issues such as self-medication, depression, learned helplessness, high-risk behaviors, guilt, re-enactment, and relationship conflicts.

Rehab for Women

Our rehab center addresses addiction and past trauma through a comprehensive program, including gender-specific therapy and tailored treatment plans. Our secure and compassionate environment promotes complete healing by reducing distractions, treating co-occurring mental health issues, and providing healthcare. We also offer therapy and support groups designed for women’s needs and sensitivity toward mothers.

Rehab for Young Adults

Yellowstone offers a successful recovery guide for people of all ages, including young adults, by meeting them where they are. Our age-specific treatment plans work for people from all walks of life. Our treatment programs and residences are separated by gender, which helps clients focus on recovery and prevents inappropriate involvement.

Drug Rehab

Yellowstone Recovery offers individualized addiction treatment programs, including residential, outpatient, and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs.

Clients undergo a professional detox phase before entering residential treatment, where they live on-site and participate in counseling sessions and 12-step meetings.

Outpatient programs offer more flexibility, with clients living off-site and attending counseling and meetings on their own schedule. IOP programs are accelerated and open to anyone who has completed detox or has a less severe addiction. Sober living homes are also available for clients who need a safe and supportive place to live during outpatient treatment.

Alcohol Rehab

Residential treatment is the most common type of alcohol addiction program chosen by clients. It involves living on-site and going through a blackout period in the first few weeks.

Medical detox is provided at the beginning, followed by a 12-step program, individual and group therapy, and life skills training. Staff will supervise you at all times, and you’ll have a peer support network.

After 30 days, you’ll move to extended care where you’ll practice what you’ve learned and work toward becoming self-sufficient with the help of counselors and staff.
